My brother had the same experience renting his first flat, except worse. No one was on his side of the table. The letting agent rushed him to sign. He didn’t find out about the council tax bill, the poor insulation, or the rush-hour traffic until he’d already moved in.
We were both making huge financial commitments armed with little more than a glossy listing and a stack of browser tabs. So we built the tool we wished we’d had from the start.
