The Fox and Firkin near the station is a local legend — craft ales and live music most nights. Levante Restaurant is a popular Middle Eastern spot. La Pizzeria Italiana has been serving the area for decades.

Lewisham Market runs several days a week along the high street, offering fresh produce, fabrics, and household goods. The shopping centre covers mainstream retail needs.
